Raised on a farm, Chelsea's affinity for the outdoors was ingrained from an early age. At 14, she embarked on her hunting journey, a passion that only deepened over the years and eventually expanded into hounds after her contract with the Canadian Military came to an end. On a bold whim, Chelsea, along with her two kids, embraced a radical change, selling everything to relocate to their off grid hunt camp. For the past four years, they've been living off the grid, with no running water or indoor plumbing, relying on a wood stove for cooking. Immersed in the wilderness, Chelsea and her family engage in hunting, trapping, foraging, canning, gardening, and savor the simplicity of life alongside their cherished hounds.

Chelsea stumbled upon painting as a way to unwind when the kids were young, and were off to bed. What started as a nightly escape turned into an artistic journey. Seven years later, her paintings have graced magazine covers, and she's collaborated with many incredible companies, selling her unique artwork across Canada and the US. Self-taught, Chelsea's style echoes vintage hunting art and she is excited to continue broadening her portfolio to include more wildlife and hunting scenes.

As we step into 2024, Chelsea is expanding her horizons, diving into teaching women outdoor skills with her new venture, Whiskey Creek Retreats. With exciting projects on the horizon, she's eager to see what the future holds in her creative journey.
